Statement from The Most Reverend Michael J. Bransfield

The Most Reverend Michael J. Bransfield issued the following statement regarding the resignation of Dan Angalich as principal of Bishop Donahue Memorial High School in McMechen. Mr. Angalich is accepting an administrative position at Wheeling Jesuit University.

“I want to thank Dan Angalich for five years of faithful and enthusiastic service to Bishop Donahue High School. During his tenure, Donahue has increased its enrollment, revived its presence in the community, and provided a valuable Catholic education to young men and women. I personally wish Dan well in his new position at Wheeling Jesuit University, and I am pleased that Dan is advancing his career while also staying in the field of Catholic education. While Dan will certainly be missed at Bishop Donahue, it is imperative for us to move forward and fill the principal position for the upcoming school year.”
